been supporting a variety of live music and musicians for the
last 30
years. We are located in the Mississippi river valley between La
Crosse
and Dubuque. You can find us in
the historical district downtown Prairie du Chien. This
area has been a well kept secret to protect its treasures. If you
are in the area, stop in for a show or you can be the show. Help us

Born out of the passion for live music, and nurtured for 40 years, the Main has matured into a Mecca for musicians and co insures of the live music scene alike.
It's been said.. There is music-then there is MAIN
MUSIC. The creative expression that resonates from these walls comes from all
walks of life on a variety of instruments. From the accomplished musicians to
the one song wonders, it is always something special and keeps you coming back
for more.
Once you walk across the threshold don't be afraid that there is no TV, juke box, video games or strip poker machines to occupy your shyness. Someone will actually engage you in conversation ..really..and before you know it you have become part of the Main Entrance family.
